Synopsis: Based on true story, 5 Up 2 Down is about the spiritual journey of two drug addict New York artists.

Santo (Kirk Acevedo of OZ), a street-smart hustler tries to come to term with his ancient dreams and finds out the meanings to his current life. His best friend, Hunter, an up-and-coming artist (César Award winner Isaach De Bankolé), is a week away from the biggest show of his career. It could be a point of great reflection for both, but Hunter and Santo attempt to avoid reality by descending into an intense five-day drug binge. Meanwhile Santo’s girlfriend Allie (Paz de la Huerta) seeking solace in the arms of immoral club mogul Amir. As the situation grows increasingly grim, Santo begins to connect his dreams to his presence and realizes he and Hunter must change their ways to avoid a destiny of tragedy.
